ScriptWright was started by two friends with a love of story, keen to use their script analysis skills to help writers get the best from their ideas. Read about us below!
Maddy studied History at the school of Oriental and African Studies and has been a script analyst for Coverfly, Big Light Productions, the Hamptons International Film Festival in New York and the Omnibus Theatre in London. She has also written articles for the New Statesman, the Daily Telegraph, Time magazine and the Huffington Post, and particularly loves reading scripts that deal with weighty political and social themes. Her favourite TV shows and films include The Night Manager, Patrick Melrose, The Lives of Others and The Miseducation of Cameron Post. Some of her other pet passions are U2, Tom Hiddleston and The Mandalorian.
Owen has worked across the creative sectors for eleven years, with companies such as the RSC, the National Theatre, BBC Films and Audible. An Oxford and RADA graduate, he has provided script support for many writers, including work at Park Theatre and as a reader for World Productions, Sister, South of the River, Red Planet Pictures, the Lift-Off Global Network and the Hamptons International Film Festival in New York. A Spider-Man, Neil Gaiman, and metal music fan you'll find him thinking about stories, Joseph Campbell, or Dungeons & Dragons.
